The short answer is yes! However, there are a few things you need to be aware of.
Replace led lamps
If you only replace incandescent or halogen bulbs with LED bulbs, you need to make sure that the purchased LED bulbs are marked dimmable. These should be used with standard wall panel sensor dimmer.
Replace existing led accessories
If you are replacing an old fixture with an LED lights, you need to make sure that the led driver is dimmable.
ac led driver do similar work to transformers on older fixtures. It absorbs the input 240VAC power and converts it to the DC power required by the LED luminaire. You will not be able to use existing transformers with new LED luminaires.
Although the LED driver works like a transformer, it does it in a completely different way. In fact, an LED driver is an electronic device. It must be specially designed to work with dimmer switches.
TRIAC DIMMER SWITCH
The led lamp dimmer switch you find in most North American and Canadian markets is a leading or trailing TRIAC dimmer. It works by chopping AC power into the led driver. In order for the LED driver to work with a TRIAC dimmer switch, it must be an AC phase-cut dimming-type LED driver. This means that the led driver power supply has a built-in circuit that detects that the AC power is "chopped" and dims the LED light accordingly.
If you try to use a dimmer switch with a standard "non-dimmable" LED driver, the light will go out or start blinking.
Your LED luminaire may only have a standard "non-dimmable" LED driver in the box. If this is the case, then you will need to find a dimmable LED driver that is compatible with LED fixtures.
Smart Electronics has two different certificate of led driver power supply with AC phase-cut dimming function, one is UL and the other is ETL certification
