1. Wattage
First, find out how many watts your lights will consume to choose the corresponding wattage power supply. If you wish to run more than one light with one power supply, you must add the wattages to find the total wattage used. Make sure you have a big enough power supply by giving yourself a 20% buffer of the total wattage calculated from the LEDs. This can easily be done by multiplying the total wattage by 1.2 and then finding the power supply rated for that wattage
2. Efficiency
The efficiency of the power supply indicates the amount of power that is actually used to light the LEDs. The higher the efficiency percentage of the power supply, the more power you end up saving. For LED applications, it is best to choose a power supply with an efficiency of 80% or higher. Check out smarts power supplies for the most efficient options as they are over 86% efficient.
3. Dimensions
When choosing a power supply for your LED project, it is important to know where it needs to be installed or where it needs to be installed, and the size of the power supply can be chosen based on the size of the installation location.
The smarts power silm size led power supply has four dimming modes: triac dimming, 0-10v dimming dali dimming, and 5 in 1 dimming. It can save a lot of space and is suitable for installation in projects with small space.
