Dimmable led drivers provide with elegant dimming and control to PWM dimmers that install on the low voltage side of the circuit (12v/24v). They’re a superior solution that keep wires hidden away inside your walls, and dimming control where you like it. A typical dimmable led driver installation is shown below.
Dimmable led drivers install almost as same as non dimmable power supply. On the DC or output side, connecting the positive and negative wires to the Strip lights (or other low voltage led lights). On the AC or input side, connecting the neutral and ground wires directly to the power source. The live wire of power source connect to the input of the dimmer switch, and the output of the dimmer switch will connect to the live wire of the dimmable driver. Connections can be made with wire nuts, butt splices, or any other connectors. Make sure to run your wires through walls, to conceal them from accidental contact if possible.
