SCR dimmers are widely used in the dimming system, but many users have encountered SCR be damaged when using phase cut dimming power supply. The following are 4 common causes of the SCR dimmer damage.

  ---Voltage breakdown. The SCR is damaged by the inability to withstand the voltage, there is a hole in the chip, which sometimes can be seen with a magnifying glass. The reason may be that the tube itself has voltage drop or high voltage breakdown when the power supply circuit is disconnected.
