  1. What is constant current led driver?

  Constant current LED drivers are designed for a designated range of output voltages and a fixed output current. It is can be used for individual bulbs or in series led light. The disadvantage is that, if the circuit is broken, none of your LEDs will work. However they generally offer better control and a more efficient system than constant voltage led power supply.

  2. What is constant voltage led driver?

  Constant voltage led drivers are designed for a single direct current (DC) output voltage. The most common constant voltage led drivers are 12VDC or 24VDC.  Constant voltage led power supply can be used with LED strips that have a current limiting resistor, which most do. The voltage output must meet the voltage requirement of the entire LED string.
