Regardless of a new or UL-certified LED driver, it must meet the following conditions to be evaluated as a "Class P (overheat protection)" LED driver power supply:

Structural requirements:

Must meet all applicable UL 8750 related structural requirements, as well as the following conditions:
Must have electrical and fireproof enclosures, and meet UL 8750 related requirements for enclosures.
The temperature of the plastic shell is at least 90°C.

The attached terminal or wire can withstand a temperature of at least 90°C.

The led power supply and load connection methods must meet the requirements of UL 8750 for field wiring.

Testing requirements:
Must meet all applicable UL 8750 related test requirements, as well as the following conditions:
During normal operation at rated load and standard ambient temperature (UL 8750, Table 8.2:25 or 40°C), the temperature at any position of the enclosure must be less than 90°C.

During abnormal operation (single component failure, output overload and the newly added "Increase Ambient Temperature Test"), any position of the enclosure must be less than 110°C, or exceed 110°C but not exceed 150° for a short time limit C (see UL 8750 Form SE4.1 for details).
