Electrically speaking, every 5 meters must be connected in parallel, but physically speaking, they can be arranged from beginning to end until about 20m (it may cause a voltage drop and cause the brightness of the lamp to dim).

For example, if you want the led power supply waterproof to drive your 15m LED strip. You can do:

Firstly, you could connect 10m wires to the led power supply waterproof.
Secondly, directly connect the first 5m piece with the led power supply waterproof.
Thirdly, connect the another piece at the middle of your wire (around 5m mark).
Finally, connect the last piece at the end of your 10m wire, and you will have 15m long LED strip.

We do not recommend full load led power supply waterproof, because it will always run at full load, will cause damage to the light belt, know the dimmable led power supply damage. For example, use a 100W dimmable led power supply to drive a 100W light belt to work 12 hours a day, which is harmful to the power supply and the light belt.

The dimmable led power supply is best operated at a load of 55%-80%. If the total power of the light strip is 30W, use a 37.5-55W power supply. In this way, it will not be too hot, which will benefit the service life of the dimmable led power supply and the light strip.

It is also very important to choose the correct size of the wire. If the wire size is too small, the passing current will be very small, which will cause the LED strip to become darker and darker, and the wire will be a little hot.
