An LED driver converts AC power to DC power, they come in many wattages and the matching led drivers will optimize your lightings performance and lifetime. Constant Current LED Driver assure long life by regulating the current output to be constant,  regardless of the number of LEDs. Constant current drivers adjust the output voltage to match the LED modules by automatically. The advantages of CC drivers is consistent light output, and the ability to underdriving or overdrive the LEDs. The disadvantages are that you must match the driver wattage to the LED wattage, and you run the risk of overdriving the LEDs beyond the safe working limits of the LED and burning out the LEDs.

Constant Voltage LED drivers are usually used with LEDs that are designed to be cut to length, such as LED tapes and LED flexible strip lights. The LED strips must be equipped with current limiting resistors to limit the current flow the LEDs. The advantage is the ability to drive different length products with the same driver.

The disadvantage is the current limiting resistors will consume some electricity and release heat.

Dimming LED drivers are available with the following 3 dimming types:  triac dimming, 0-10V dimming and DALI dimming
