Why triac dimmable drivers?
Dimmable driver provide excellent dimming and control capabilities for triac dimmers that are installed in (12V or 24V DC) circuit voltage. They are a permanent and beautiful solution to hide the wires inside the wall and dim them where you want them.
What is a triac dimmable driver?
Conventional led transformer and power supply are not designed for led dimmer switch and cannot predict the dimming performance of dimmer switches. You may have some degree of dimming control, but inconsistent dimming or flickering will cause your lights to not work. The solution was to choose the power supply for the dimmer switch: a dimmable driver.
How to install a dimmable driver
This dimming wiring diagram shows a typical triac led driver installation. Check the materials that come with the led dimmer switch and the dimmable driver to make sure they match.
The dimmable driver is installed almost the same as a non-dimmable power supply. On the DC (output) side, connect the positive and negative wires to the LED strip (or other low-voltage lighting product). On the AC (input) side, connect the neutral and ground wires directly to the power source. The live wire from the household power source will be connected to the input of the dimmer switch-the output of the dimmer switch will then be connected to the live wire of the dimmable driver.
