But we do receive some questions from customer about the connection between our 12v 24v led power supply with equipment, here we list LCD test as example as below:
The first test we do is that:power on the power supply firstly, and then connect the DC end of the power supply to the LCD. the instantaneous output current of the DC end of the power supply is not so large at this time, There is a large capacitor in the LCD controller (the larger the capacitor, the more the startup current is required The larger), the LCD display with the controller is a capacitive load, and a large inrush current will be generated at the moment of power-on. The power supply will detect a large current, it may be judged as overload, and it will automatically enter the overload protection.
The second test we do is: power supply is turned on after the DC end of the power supply is connected to the LCD light well. This is the correct operation and feasible. It is because the power supply is soft-started. At this time, the capacitive load connected is not afraid of not starting, because the soft-start output is The voltage and current rise slowly, rather than turning on in an instant. Of course, the soft-start time is not very long, generally within milliseconds.
