A good quality led light driver transformer is hard to got fails because of a manufacturing fault. As per our experience, the power supply for led lights failure by the mis-connection during installation or there are some environmental factors at play. So what’s causing the failure? It could be a
number of things. Here we would like to tell few failures clients are most usually meet and how to do the troubleshooting.
1. Light does not illuminate
• Ensure the main power is turned ON.
• Ensure the system is wired correctly and positive and negative poles are matched.
• Ensure a compatible dimmable lighting fixture is installed.
• Ensure the driver and lighting fixtures have the same voltage specifications (12V & 12V, or 24V & 24V).
2. Lights flashing or flickering
• Ensure a compatible dimmer is installed.
• Ensure a compatible dimmable lighting fixture is installed.
• Ensure all connections are properly installed.
• Ensure lighting fixture has correct input voltage.
• Ensure the connection has suitable loading. Do not overload.
3. Different fixture types can not dim in synchronous
• Ensure different lighting fixtures type is installed with separate driver for best dimming performance.
