The excellent led drivers are standalone powers source that adjusts the power required by the LED or LED array. Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are low energy consumption lighting equipment, with long life and low energy consumption, so special power supply is needed.

one of the advantages of LEDs is that they are energy efficient - they don't require a lot of power to work. LEDs actually operate using DC power at fairly low voltages - usually between 2V and 4V. Because of this, they need something to convert the AC to DC for them, which will also help protect them from any potential surge that could cause the LEDs to overheat and become a problem.So essentially the LED driver is not only a current management system, but also a protection buffer .

The LED drivers are divided into constant current led drivers or constant voltage. Smarts provided low voltage LED drivers which are usually used in outdoor, commercial, road lighting and other applications. Dimming and non dimming constant current driver are also available.
