DALI(Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) is a new control protocol of intelligent lighting system: the system is designed for simple structure, convenient installation, easy operation and good function; the protocol defines the communication mode between electronic ballast and controller, Dali protocol system is composed of distributed intelligent modules; each intelligent module has the ability of digital communication and digital control The memory of the module stores the module address and lighting scene information; many intelligent modules are attached to Dali bus, which can communicate with each intelligent module through Dali bus, transmit instructions and status information, and realize the functions of light switch, dimming control, system setting, etc.

Dali protocol is established by master-slave control model. Dali controls the whole system through the middle controller, and connects to the 2-wire control line through Dali interface. Each ballast is addressed separately by dimming controller. Through addressing, any light equipment on the control line can be operated independently.
