Dali dimmable is a dedicated lighting control protocol. The dali drivers has the advantages of overall dimming, group dimming, addressing dimming, multi-scene mode setting, simplicity, reliability, excellent function, and flexible extension.

The DALI system allows each lamp to have an independent address, so the lamp is upgraded from ordinary lamp to "smart lamp". In fact, the light source in the system, lamps and lanterns themselves do not have any requirements. However, the ballast and electronic transformer are required to comply with the DALI standard protocol, and the address of the lamp is reflected by them. In addition to the ballast and transformer, other components of the DALI system (such as sensors) should also comply with the DALI standard, thus forming a complete DALI lighting control system.

A standard DALI system can carry up to 64 individually addressed components. The maximum current provided by DALI is 250mA. If a control element conforming to the DALI protocol is used, the size of the system must satisfy 64 points or 250mA total current. When a system includes both a ballast and a control element, ensure that the system meets these limitations. If a DALI system has more than 64 points or a system current greater than 250mA, signal attenuation, distortion, and system errors may occur. Some components may fail to communicate, and the system may not operate stably.
