Answer: A common question that customers ask is: “Can I use an LED lights that has a higher wattage equivalent than the LED drivers?” The answer is NO. in the applications, its normal to give around 90-100% load to led driver. but won't suggest to give overload. that's say, if its a 12v 150w LED driver for LED light, max.140w load is optimal. it is referring the dangers of high heat output associated with LEDs and LED drivers.
All drivers from SMARTS has protection of overload, if it comes the highest point, drivers will have overload protection automatic, and resume work as soon as the fault release.
