If you don't know how to choose constant current or constant voltage type power supply, you can judge according to the marked parameters of the lamp.

1) .  If the output voltage is marked as: DC12V/24V/36V, it is a constant voltage lamp. Common constant voltage lamps include: LED strips, strips, MR16, etc.

2) . If the output current is marked as a constant value, such as 350mA, the output voltage is a range value, such as 3-15V, it is a constant current lamp. constant current lamps in market include: downlights, ceiling lights, panel lights, etc.

For example, the 5050 LED /RGB strip light power is 14.4w/m, and the LEDs power can be calculated according to the length of the light strip to choose the constant voltage dimming power supply. Thats say, if the LED strip you are using is 5M, the driver you should use are 72w led driver or 96w led driver.

Constant current LEDs can be equipped with dimming power supplies with appropriate power and current according to the output current and power.
